Clean Break Inc. was established in 1984 by a Warren, Ohio native, Dave Eppley.  Mr. Eppley, a degreed engineer, gained 30 years experience overseeing the Maintenance/Janitorial employees at Delphi Packard Electric Systems.

PEOPLE

Clean Break painstakingly seeks out the highest qualified and motivated individuals who pride themselves in exceeding customer expectations.  We hire less than 5% of the applicants and pay our employees significantly more than what our competitors do.  We believe solid recruiting, training, and reward systems result in improved employee performance and retention.  Our company is, of course, our people.

TRAINING

Our training programs compliment our management style of soliciting feedback from customers to continuously improve the quality of service provided.  We follow all the industry publications to keep abreast of the latest developments in chemical selection and application with an emphasis on green cleaning products and equipment. Additionally, professionally prepared videos are used to instruct employees.

MANAGEMENT ACCESSIBILITY

As a seven day a week, around the clock operation, we have learned the importance of having a manager on duty at all times.  Through experience, we have learned that things can and do happen, but that quick, efficient response to a potential problem results in our customers  being impressed with our reaction to what could have been a costly, time consuming situation.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Being in the “Service” business, quality assurance is the name of the game, and you as our customer are our first concern.  Results of on-site inspections are rated and documented by employee name and customer account.  This feedback to our employees, coupled with a multi-tiered incentive program which allows employees to earn up to 5% bonus pay results in improved customer satisfaction.

Awards won recently  include “Best in Warren in the Janitorial Category” by the US Commerce Association; “Best of the Best Award for Janitorial Services” by the Tribune Chronicle and “Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award” by Celebration Media US.

PROFESSIONALISM

Our personnel who display photo/name badges and wear uniforms upon request have been trained to handle most any situation with the utmost respect, discretion, and professionalism.  Strict employee guidelines are in place to insure customer information privacy and security.  Clean Break is a member of such firms as the NFIB, Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau (one of our customers).
